As a freedom coach the question of what makes us really feel free is something that is on my mind a lot.
Freedom means something different for everybody in this world. I’ve listened John Wineland in the past days and find it very interesting, that he says that the female part in all of us thrives for love and the masculine for freedom. The female wants fullness, whereas the male emptiness.
So, how is it that I support so many women in finding their very own freedom and live it?
For me, who has a more feminine essence (not all women do, everybody embodies both parts, just in different percentages) my freedom lies in living in unconditional love for myself all creatures and things in this world.
When I live my individually defined freedom, I feel very connected to myself and the people around me and everything is in a flow inside and outside of me.
This freedom means fullness of love and also emptiness which I think of as space that provides me the chance of filling it with things/ideas/people that serve me well.
I like to play with the feminine and masculine energies that John Wineland and his teacher David Deida teach about. I guess it is my masculine that felt so freed and deliberated when we got rid of everything we owned at the beginning of this year. I really enjoy that at the moment I don’t need to think about stuff that we own…. no house to clean or keep up, no yard, no garden, very little laundry, … we don’t own enough to make big messes!
All this (head)space that comes with it, gives me the opportunity to fill it with exciting things like projects, that I want to work on for my work, but also space to work on my relationships which then returns to me in the fullness of love.
I love my life as a traveling family. We can pretty much go wherever we want. We can do whatever we feel like doing.
I must say, I am scared to settle again.
I am totally torn between seeing a life of being settled and finding a place that we’d love where we can have animals that we love, where we find new friends that we’d love to connect with, a soccer club for the boys, activities like surfing, paddle boarding, working with people in person, instead of only online,… All this can feel so cozy and loving and perfect.
BUT it all comes with the restraint of having the responsibilities that come with owning a property, a house, being members of clubs, having to take care of animals,… I wouldn’t be able to just wander and flow wherever I wanted…
Both options have pros and cons on my freedom list and my challenge that I see, is to combine both things and stop seeing them as black and white!
Really stepping into creating my life means to stir up the black and white and then go fishing in the grey soup! I am fishing for all the things that make my life (nearly) perfect, because I’ve long stopped thinking that there is a perfect in life.
I am going into trust that even though parts of me see it as daunting right now so settle, we (as a family) will figure out a way that allows us to still be able to flow and are free to travel the world when we feel like it.
As a location independent life coach, I have the advantage to being able to freely pick where I want to be for my coaching sessions. I created this for myself and I am very proud of it. And the animals can be looked after by housesitters, just like we do this sometimes for other people.
The world we live in is really full of so many options! We just need to wake up and see them! And then act and create.
I am excited to be living at this time. I am excited about how things will play out for us in the next couple of months. We have dreams that we will work on fulfilling.
Life is fun. Life is exciting. Life is challenging. We grow and enjoy when we take on what’s been given us. The universe has our backs!
Much love, Annika <3
